Innovative Approaches on Use of Information for Decision Making

February 7, 2017

On Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 12:30pm–2:00pm EST, JSI's Dr. Theo Lippeveld will present Innovative approaches towards use of information for decision making: The Ethiopia Data Use Partnership in a Saving Newborn Lives seminar.

Over the past decade, the Government of Ethiopia in collaboration with development partners has invested in building an effective health information system. Despite the many progresses made in Ethiopia, in terms of building a health information system, there remain challenges related to limited availability of data, poor quality data, and limited use of data at all levels of the health system.

Recently, a consortium led by JSI was awarded the Ethiopia Data Use Partnership (EDUP) project which aims to improve the use of high-quality routine information in the health sector, contributing to improved quality, efficiency, and availability of primary health and nutrition services at all levels.

Join us for a presentation followed by a discussion with Dr. Lippeveld on the EDUP project progress and future goals.
