Delivering HIV Rapid Test Results: Experiences from the Field

This 35-minute video demonstrates counseling approaches for effectively and compassionately delivering HIV test results. It offers personal experiences and perspectives from diverse clients who have received both positive and negative test results and from providers who have given results; and emphasizes the importance of providing culturally appropriate services and referrals. This video will be useful for health care providers and counselors whose job includes delivering HIV test results to clients/patients, in settings including community health centers, family planning clinics, STD clinics, and physicians' offices.
