Climate change preparedness is a state of readiness for anticipated impacts, such as extreme or repeated flooding and higher temperatures. In this Preparedness Plan for the Port neighborhood of the city of Cambridge, these scenarios have been assessed for two planning horizons: 2030 and 2070. Resilience strategies increase the ability of infrastructure, residents, and the economy to withstand, adjust to, and recover from the impacts of climate change.

JSI assisted the City of Cambridge in developing strategies in their Cambridge Climate Change Preparedness and Resilience Plans as a public health and climate change subject matter expert consultant to Kleinfelder, Inc. This report was developed in 2019.
