Improving COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh

This technical brief was developed to describe how the Integrated Health Systems Strengthening and Service Delivery (IHSS-SD) Activity in Pakistan incorporated COVID-19 vaccination coverage expansion into its agenda. Multiple efforts implemented by the Activity to expand vaccination coverage resulted in over nine million COVID-19 vaccinations given at newly established COVID-19 vaccination centers, and 92 percent of the eligible population in the targeted provinces vaccinated. The purpose of this report is to inform project fellows and donors; however, it is also useful for any who want to learn about the IHSS-SD Activity’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage response in Pakistan.
