Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women globally, causing over 350,000 deaths in 2022, 90% of which occurred in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The HPV Vaccine Acceleration Program Partners Initiative (HAPPI) Consortium supports global efforts to eliminate cervical cancer by accelerating access to and coverage of the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine. This includes expanding the evidence base to drive impactful vaccine implementation, policy change, and gender-intentional vaccination planning.
