Dr. Tammy Calise Joins PCD Journal as Associate Editor

Preventing Chronic Disease (PCD), a peer-reviewed public journal sponsored by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, has selected JSI’s Dr. Tammy Calise as one of six new people to serve on the journal’s team of Associate Editors.

Dr. Calise is the Director of JSI Healthy Communities, which works as a trusted partner with clients to implement and evaluate innovative, evidence-driven solutions that contribute to a healthier environment where individuals thrive and communities flourish. As the lead evaluator on a number of state-level chronic disease efforts, she has worked with partners from across geographic areas and organizational boundaries to collect and compile data, share information, leverage resources, and document and enhance their collective impact. Dr. Calise received her DrPH in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Boston University and her Masters of Education in Health Education from the University of Missouri. Congratulations Tammy!
