Global Digital Health Network Selects New Co-Chairs

Steve Ollis, senior digital health advisor from John Snow, Inc. (JSI), and Trinity Zan from FHI360 will serve as the new co-chairs of the Global Digital Health Network.
Formerly known as the mHealth Working Group, the Network was created in 2009 by and for global health organizations. Today, the Network is a 3,000+ person-strong forum for members from 108 countries. The Network provides leadership in digital health (mHealth, eHealth, and ICTs) and a collaborative gathering space for members to exchange perspectives, resources, and practical guidance related to implementation across a range of technical areas.
Steve began his digital health career in 2010 developing decision-support tools for frontline health workers with D-tree International in Tanzania. As a senior digital health advisor at JSI, he supports the Maternal and Child Survival Program. Prior to digital health, Steve worked in management and information technology consulting in the United States, overseeing the development of web applications for public-sector clients.
The Network will be co-chaired by Trinity Zan, a key member of the team that developed Mobile for Reproductive Health, a mobile phone-based information service. The service has won several awards, including from Women Deliver and the African Development Bank. Trinity is FHI360’s lead for digital health under the USAID flagship Knowledge Management for Health project.
