Gambia

In the early 1990s, JSI implemented the USAID-funded Resources for Child Health (REACH) Program in The Gambia, improving systems for child immunization and acute respiratory infection control. More recently, JSI has assessed and identified injection safety and health care waste management practices and worked to ensure a cost-effective and efficient procurement process through the Global Fund’s Voluntary Pooled Procurement program, among other activities.
