Technical Lead - HIS Governance, CHISU
Prior to joining CHISU, Mamadou Alimou Barry spent 12 years as the senior HIS specialist for the MEASURE Evaluation project. Before JSI, he was a senior technical advisor for CDC in Mali; a public health specialist at USAID; and a deputy manager of the Canadian CIDA HIV prevention project in Guinea. In total, Mamdou has over 25 years of experience with HIS design and improvement; M&E; tool, indicator, and standard operating procedure development, and data quality and use efforts. He has primarily worked in West Africa, including Guinea, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Benin, Burkina Faso, Niger and Mali; as well as Serbia, East Timor, and Haiti. Mamadou has a doctorate of pharmacy, an Msc, and an MPH.
