Technical Lead - Data Use and Analysis, CHISU
David Boone has over 20 years of experience in international and U.S. domestic public health programs. Before he came to CHISU in 2022, he contributed to the TB Data, Impact Assessment and Communications Hub and the Strategies to Prevent Spillover and the MEASURE Evaluation projects. Before JSI, David worked internationally for guinea worm eradication in Benin, polio eradication in Nigeria, and sleeping sickness epidemic control in South Sudan. In the U.S., he has worked at state and county levels as an infectious disease epidemiologist. His areas of expertise include disease control and surveillance, routine health information system strengthening, and data quality, analysis, and use. David has a PhD in epidemiology from Tulane University and is fluent in French.
