Henry is a medical doctor, public health scientist, and development practitioner with more than 23 years of experience. He applies implementation science and clinical research to mitigate various health challenges. Henry’s expertise spans HIV, neglected tropical diseases, TB, malaria, viral hemorrhagic fevers, and immunization. In addition to being a member of several technical working groups, he is the deputy national secretary of the Society of Private Medical and Dental Practitioners of Ghana and a member of the International Science Reserve team of the New York Academy of Sciences; the Association of Clinical Research Practitioners of the U.S.; the Scientific Committee of the Society of AIDS in Africa; European AIDS Clinical Society; and the Ghana Medical Association. Henry is an adjunct lecturer at the Ghana College of Physicians and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and volunteers his time chairing the Village of Hope Orphanage Health Services in Ghana.
