Advancing Whole-System and Whole-Person Care for All

A strong and resilient primary health system offers equitable, comprehensive, and integrated services that meet community needs and provide positive experiences of care. Achieving this requires robust health infrastructure, supportive political environments, skilled health care professionals, effective supply chains, comprehensive health information systems supported by technology, community engagement, and sustainable financing mechanisms.

Strengthening primary health care to universally serve people with high-quality care requires whole-system and -person thinking and approaches tailored to local contexts. JSI implements these approaches to support resilient and accessible primary health care systems in over 40 countries.
