Kate Onyejekwe, International Division director, will join the 2022 Equitable Health Systems Challenge Roundtable Session during MIT’s flagship Solve event. The event convenes innovators to build partnerships and overcome global challenges in real-time. The roundtable will be moderated by Arvin Garg (UMass Memorial Health) and feature Divleen Jeji (Google Health) and Andrea Seiter (The World Bank Group).

While half of the world’s population lacks access to essential health services such as family planning and immunization, this event focuses on how communities can build affordable, accessible, high-quality, and equitable health systems.

Kate has more than 25 years of experience in family planning and reproductive health, maternal and child health, immunization, HIV, gender and youth programming, community health, capacity building, and pharmaceutical management. She will discuss some of the biggest inequities JSI has seen within health systems and why it is important to work with local health care providers, innovators, and communities to overcome challenges.

Tune into the roundtable on Friday, May 6, 1:30 pm–3:30 pm ET.
