Matthew Osborne-Smith Joins Capacity Development Network Leadership Committee

Matthew Osborne-Smith, director of the JSI/World Education Center for Capacity Development, has joined the leadership committee of the Capacity Development Network (CD Network).

The CD Network is a membership working group of global health and development organizations. It provides an informal platform for implementers and practitioners to gather, disseminate, and exchange information, ideas, and best practices in capacity development.

Matthew Osborne-Smith has been the director of the JSI/World Education Center for Capacity Development since 2020. The Center was launched in 2012 to harness the extensive experience both JSI and sister organization World Education have in strengthening the capacity of governmental, nongovernmental, and private sector organizations.

An active working group, the CD Network engages with USAID and other donors to provide input into programs, policy, and strategic directions. JSI and World Education have been members almost since the Network’s launch in 2012.
