JSI’s flagship health logistics guide, The Supply Chain Manager’s Handbook, is now available in a Russian language edition, made possible with support from the United Nation Population Fund (UNFPA). The Supply Chain Manager’s Handbook is a practical guide for logisticians and program staff who manage health commodities. It describes key principles and concepts of supply chain management for health commodities and provides guidance for managers responsible for improving, revising, designing, operating, and monitoring all or part of a supply chain. The full version of the handbook is available in English and Russian, and includes an addendum for humanitarian settings.
The handbook’s addendum for humanitarian settings is now also available in Spanish and French. These new translations were funded by USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance through the Building Capacity to Improve Pharmaceutical and Medical Commodity Management in Humanitarian and Disaster Settings program. The addendum provides an overview of health care supply chain management in the humanitarian response context to help supply chain managers better prepare and deliver to the people who need relief during a crisis.
JSI wrote The Supply Chain Manager’s Handbook based on more than 30 years of experience improving public health supply chains in more than 60 countries.
We strive to build lasting relationships to produce better health outcomes for all.
