JSI is assessing the impact of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETC) Program, which aims to strengthen the HIV workforce's capacity to improve outcomes along the HIV care continuum.
JSI is evaluating the reach and impact of the AETC Program through the National Evaluation Plan (NEP). The scope of the NEP will be expanded to examine the National AETC Programs, Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America (EHE) and COVID-19 activities. The updated NEP will evaluate:
Through this initiative, JSI continues its work to evaluate the reach and impact the AETC Program's four programmatic components: 1) Core Training; 2) Minority AIDS Initiative; 3) Practice Transformation Project; and 4) Interprofessional Education Project.
Under this contract, funded by HRSA HAB, the JSI team is also integrating evaluation activities related to Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America (EHE) and COVID-19 initiatives implemented by the AETCs.
