AIDS Education Training Centers (AETC) Evaluation Implementation Project

John Snow, Inc. is assessing the National Evaluation Plan (NEP) for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program’s AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETC) and helping to develop and implement a strengthened NEP for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB). The new NEP provides standardized and comprehensive methods to evaluate the four AETC programmatic components:

1. Core Training
2. Minority AIDS Initiative Activities
3. Practice Transformation Project 
4. Interprofessional Education Project

The goal of the evaluation is to assess the reach of AETC Program activities and the impact of the Program on the HIV workforce and outcomes along the HIV care continuum.
