JSI is contracting with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Bureau of Infectious Disease and Laboratory Sciences to coordinate COVID-19 and other vaccination services that are intended to optimize access to COVID-19 vaccination and reduce racial, ethnic, and other disparities in vaccination rates for prioritized municipalities, communities, and populations in Massachusetts. Vaccination efforts will be implemented in clinical and community-based settings and will focus on municipalities and populations that have evidence of low rates of vaccination for infectious conditions and/or racial, ethnic, or other disparities in vaccination rates. The types of vaccinations to be delivered through this program may include COVID-19, influenza, mpox, hepatitis A and B, and other vaccine types. This project will also assess the vaccination status of families residing in Emergency Assistance shelters across MA and support vaccination clinics for these families.
