Connecticut Health Care Associated Infection (HAI) Validation

JSI will validate the accuracy and completeness of healthcare-associated infections (HAI) reported to the Connecticut DPH from acute care hospitals using the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) HAI surveillance (tracking) system. JSI will use validation protocols and forms prepared by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and published in their national HAI surveillance data validation toolkit, available on the CDC website.
