Email us at stopSTDs@jsi.com to tell us about your technical assistance and capacity building needings, ask us a question, or share examples of your program’s successes.

We work in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of STD Prevention (DSTDP) to increase the implementation of effective approaches to STI surveillance, prevention, and control and advance the achievement of national STI goals.

Topics addressed are responsive to the needs of STI programs and include:

  • Using data to prioritize resources and inform program improvements
  • Integrating STI prevention and control into other public health efforts
  • Developing inclusive and affirming messages to increase uptake of STI services
  • Collaborating with community partners, stakeholders, and advocates to engage priority populations
  • Incorporating new technologies and innovations into STI program activities
  • Promoting and implementing effective STI prevention and control policies
  • Strengthening staff recruitment and retention
  • Responding to the syphilis and congenital syphilis epidemic

We provide technical assistance and capacity building support through:

  • Webinars to address and discuss STI program priorities and emerging issues
  • Learning communities to facilitate knowledge sharing and skills-building among peers
  • Resources and tools to support implementation and scale-up of successful practices
  • Tailored assistance and responsive consultation to address timely needs
