Technical Assistance to Ethiopia’s Expanded Programme on Immunization for Measles Second Dose Introduction

The Ethiopian Federal Ministry of Health has committed to improving levels of measles population immunity in the country by introducing a second dose of measles vaccine (MCV2) into the routine immunization schedule. Based on JSI’s knowledge and experience with MCV2 vaccination introduction in the second year of life in other countries, JSI is providing technical assistance to prepare for the nationwide introduction of MCV2 and follow-up support after the launch.
