JSI is committed to working hand-in-hand with local partners, providing tailored capacity strengthening support to address identified gaps. JSI builds on successes and accelerates progress toward sustainable and thriving local organizations— and thus a stronger health system—by enabling partners to maximize their contribution toward ending HIV and TB. For more than 40 years, JSI has asked: How can we use capacity development approaches and tools to empower local partners and communities to achieve their goals and efficiently implement donor-funded projects? We use an iterative co-creation approach that positions local organizations and JSI as equal partners. This brochure examines JSI's approach to building capacity to ensure sustainable and thriving local organizations, and thus a stronger health system, by enabling partners to maximize their contribution toward ending HIV and TB.
