Tuberculosis has affected the lives of many people around the globe. The stories here embody the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of those who have faced the infectious disease.
Included within are stories from tuberculosis survivors in West Bengal; these narratives navigate the difficulties that tuberculosis victims face and the ways in which the USAID-funded Tuberculosis Health Action Initiative (THALI) has aided in the recovery of patients and the health education/development surrounding the issue of tuberculosis in their communities. These stories were collected by JSI in 2020.
