The Wellness Pass Project

A high-level brief gives a broad overview of the Wellness Pass Project and how the Wellness Pass e-card works. This project, a partnership between Gavi, The Mastercard Corporation, Ethiopia’s Ministry of Health, and JSI, is looking to increase the relevance and value of a client-owned digital health tool in tracking and improving COVID-19 and routine immunization visits, particularly among women and children. The Wellness Pass is a chip-enhanced e-card, carried by clients, which can be used at immunization visits and enables offline portability of individual immunization records.
