By leveraging data triangulation to improve data quality, we’re better able to address immunization supply chain challenges. JSI, with Gavi support, is hosting its third webinar series to build the supply chain capacity of the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) program and supply chain managers to use data. These webinars include a mini-series, developed and presented with colleagues at VillageReach, on data triangulation. In the first webinar on the subject, Data Triangulation to Support Immunization Supply Chain Decision Making, attendees were introduced to the benefits of data triangulation for supply chain improvement, a process for data triangulation, and possible data sources..
Even in the absence of perfect data, public health practice has long accepted that combining and comparing data from several sources through triangulation can form a strong basis for more informed decision-making. Additionally, through the use of multiple data sources, the triangulation process identifies and addresses the limitations of any one data source and/or data collection methodology. Improving data quality with data triangulation allows us to better diagnose supply chain problems and take action.
Part two of the webinar on data triangulation will take place on February 1 at 8:00 a.m. EST/13:00 GMT and will include an interactive workshop component.
